Hello, I'm Katherine Reed. I have been teaching for 28 years. This will be my 22nd year at Richland.  I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi where I received  my undergraduate degree and masters degree in Elementary Education. 
   I am married to an amazing man, David, and have two wonderful boys, Garrett age 19, who is studying Business Analytics at UT Knoxville and Cooper age 17, who is a junior at Houston High.   I also have a golden named Ridley and a cat named Gracie.  I love to work in my flower garden, travel, and take care of my wonderful family.
 One of my favorite hobbies is painting landscapes, flowers, churches, and children.  I am blessed to have come from a very artistic family.  My sister, my mom, and I share a passion for art and painting.
